Bea Alonzo misses working with John Lloyd

After their recent live script reading on Valentine’s Day, actress Bea Alonzo revealed she suddenly misses working with former reel partner John Lloyd Cruz.

On Instagram, she said the outdoor script reading event, wherein they brought to life the indie blockbuster “That Thing Called Tadhana,” was a “beautiful evening.”

“The air was crisp, it didn’t feel like it was a busy Friday night, it almost felt like the holidays again. We went there unannounced with a few of our friends who opted to spend their Valentine’s with us. Most of them stayed until we finished reading the two-hour-long script. I have to say, nakaka-miss makabatuhan ng mga linya ang isang John Lloyd Cruz,” she wrote.

Recall that their tandem is best known for their 2007 box-office hit film “One More Chance,” which even had a sequel eight years later.

Valentine’s Day turned out to be a little different from what I had expected. I did a live script reading of Tonette Jadaone’s beautiful script, “That thing called TADHANA” at Ayala Triangle with Idan. @dumpsitegallery It was a beautiful evening. The air was crisp, it didn't feel like it was a busy Friday night, it almost felt like the holidays again. I have to say, nakakamiss makabatuhan ng mga linya ang isang John Lloyd Cruz. ???? I am so glad I had the privilege to be on stage with these two amazing and talented people. Congratulations Erwin Romulo and Philbert Dy @philbertdy for a successful Unconfined Cinema experience ???? Thank you @danvillegas for the pictures! Isa ka nang ganap na instagram jowa. According to Bea, she’s actually glad to have had the privilege to be on stage with “two amazing and talented people,” also pertaining to director Antoinette Jadaone.

On the comments section, Antoinette expressed gratitude to Bea for being her Mace (name of “That Thing Called Tadhana” lead character) that night.

“Sana matupad na ang pangarap kong makatrabaho ka… paki sabi sa shooting star pag napadaan,” Bea replied.

Antoinette is best known for directing “That Thing Called Tadhana,” “Love You To The Stars And Back,” “Never Not Love You,” and “Alone/Together.”
